A SIMPLE PLEA DEAL, by Carrie Neighbors
A simple little plea deal, some paperwork to sign,
but in between bold lettering, I find confessions not so benign!
And did I see with my plea, my options are but few,
go to jail, don't post bail, and promise not to sue!
In the end, my life to mend, revealed I took a fall,
for I was blind by that plea I signed
Because there was no deal at all!

Keep up the fight
no matter how this goes
I'll fight with all my might
stand up to my foes
Hope the wrong turn right.

GROWING PAST GRIEF. A POEM BY CARRIE NEIGHBORS
To the heavens my eyes gaze up,
heavy as a flower in the rain,
Sorrow now has filled my cup,
only time can ease my pain.
And like the bud and new born leaf,
leaves the thorns and mud below
To rise above the thorns of grief
It takes some time to grow.
I SHALL BE RELEASED, A WRONGFUL CONVICTION POEM
Standing next to me in this lonely crowd,
Is a man who swears he's not to blame.
All day long I hear him shout so loud,
Crying out that he was framed.
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east.
Any day now, any day now,
I shall be released.
Bob Dylan - I Shall Be Released
CORUPTION ADDRESSED BY THE BIBLE
A corrupt witness mocks at justice,
and the mouth of the wicked gulps down evil.
Proverbs 19:28
Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the
great, but judge your neighbor fairly.
Leviticus 19:15

The Strength to fight
Sometimes in life we wonder why
God allows such things to be
Strength not Deliverance comes from on high
And the fight is what sets us free!
The question in life is not whether you get knocked down. You will. The question is, are you ready to get back up... And fight for what you believe in?

Bringing forth Justice, FREEDOM!
In the quest of achieveing true Justice the end is not mere speculative knowledge of what needs to be done, or what is, but rather the doing of it.
It is not just enough to know it, it is in having the proof then, we must endeavor to possess it, and enforce it, or to take any necessary steps that can bring it forth.
FREEDOM!
Freedom is worth fighting for
Give me Liberty or give me death!
Freedom is worth dying for
I'll shout the word with my last breath!

THE EGG
A falling egg cannot break a stone.
But if its boiled long enough
It will turn hard as a bone.
WHO IS IMMORTAL?
Who is immortal I asked of thee?
The answer came quickly back to me
Tho many funerals around us be
Our own we'll never live to see
So every man lives in immortality!

I'll FIGHT FOR JUSTICE!
In the quest of achieveing true Justice, the end is not mere speculative knowledge of what needs to be done, or even what is, but rather the doing of it!
It is not just enough to believe in justice, it is in having the proof, we must endeavor to not only show it, we must possess it, and enforce it, or in the end take any necessary steps that can bring it forth through endurance.
a poem about injustice
Behold Injustice, its burden great,
crushed beneith it's mighty weight
A losing battle, to undertake

The Law admit they were wrong?
So oft deceitful is the way
Because they Judge by sight
The law is always constrained to say
What they did just was not right.
Winning the battle not the war
Fighting a battle in the war
Though loosing still we stayed
To win the battle yet loose the war
Our hearts be not dismayed
IF JUSTICE IS LOST
If in in this court Justice is lost
Then take a note my friends..
More than a thousand worlds it cost
when upon this court innocense depends!

INTERNET TROLLS, a poem about the words
Oh such words of trouble rolling
On internet forums the trolls a trolling
Words so sharp they bring distress
And oft the humble ones oppress
FINDING STRENGTH in GOD during trials poem by carrie Neighbors
On this support my soul shall lean,
And banish every care,
Each trial brings a strength unseen
If God is with me there.

THE TOUGH ROAD FOR JUSTICE
The road of Justice, is always uphill
We shall persist even though we may tire!
With patience we shall find that still
We are still climbing ever higher!
Labels: A poem about seeking justice
GIVE ME STRENGTH FOR MY TRIALS
help me to trust thy word oh Lord
And lean on thee I pray
And give me all the strength to bear
These trials sent my way.

racially profiled
To whom will all the thanks belong
while crying out for strength and song
Who shall show these profiled victims grace
When being prosecuted because of race?
God put you here
In every State, time or place
live life with gentle care
For no matter how wretched be your case
God has placed you there!
I'LL NOT Back DOWN A poem about fighting for justice
I'll not back down, nor take a fall,
I trust in truth devine
My steadfast fight will show them all
That victory is mine!
My day in court. A poem by carrie neighbors
Before the jury I beg for grace
My day in court imploy
before my accuser face to face
strength be in my joy!
Seeking Justice a poem by carrie neighbors
Tis Justice desired, yet the arguments weak
Tis facts that inspired, the truth there to seek,
Freedom to charish, what testimony gave
The innocent won't parish, if justice can save!
Foundation of Justice
Justice has its foundation broad,
But on the truth is where I stand
I shall only trust in God
All else is sinking sand!

Who do You blame for Your sin?
Sin is like a cancer
It effects everyone the same
The question to you my friend
Is who do you blame?
Did your parents ruin your life
Perhaps it was a friend
I wonder who you will blame
For your sin in the end?

Trusting in the Law
Why should I fear the Lawmans hand
Though it might crush me to dust?
Tis Laws that give his arms command
And in that law we trust!
Give me justice
"Give me Justice" I proclaim!
"Not guilty be my plea"
I shall not bow my head in shame
Nor cast their guilt on me!
No Justice!
"Not guilty" is my stern reply
Yet still I stand and question why
Upon these courts I must rely
And weep while justice passes by!

HELP ME
Though my feet may sometimes slide
My concience always be my guide
Hold my hand should I loose my way
To Guide me back if I stray!
THE LAW OUR GUIDE
The law is there to be our guide
To follow night and day
The Law is faithful to provide
The jails for those that stray!

The courts injustice still shall stand
And know each chance has passed us by
Like sand slips through the hand!

DO COPS HAVE HONOR? A poem that questions a cops word
The system here all people trust
The cops justify the bust
But shall their words be found sincere
To stand approved with honor there?
